Half a day's drive from Mikindani, the Lukwika Lumesule Game Reserve is one of the least visited wilderness areas in Africa. Herds of elephant migrate across the Ruvuma River on the southernmost edge of the reserve.

Home to lion, leopard, hippo, crocodile, antelope as well as many other animals and reptiles, has both simple lodge and camping facilities available.

Duration: Recommend a minimum of 2 nights away. Expect a 5-6 hour drive each way with plenty of rest stops, leaving at first light and arriving at approximately 3pm
We arrange: All transport, a tented camp and all meals whilst in the reserve.
You require: Camera, Binoculars, Sunscreen and suitable clothing for walking.
