The Danish School Project was initiated by Aase Joensen, a visitor from Copenhagen who wanted to help the local school children.

When back in Denmark she formed a group to offer support to the three local primary schools, Mnaida, Mchuchu, Singino. Supporters can support a pupil directly or the schools in general.

Trade Aid cannot run such a project themselves as it is not sustainable. We are though very pleased to keep a watching brief on behalf of the Project.
